Kenya Breweries Limited’s flagship beer brand, Tusker Lager, has announced its sponsorship of the first-ever Young Lions Kenya competition, reaffirming its commitment to championing Kenyan creativity and self-expression on the global stage.

This initiative aligns with Tusker’s Kenya Milele messaging, which celebrates the enduring spirit and talent of Kenyans.

As a brand deeply embedded in Kenya’s cultural identity, Tusker has a long-standing history of supporting the country’s creative, music, and arts industries. Through its sponsorship of Young Lions Kenya,

Tusker aims to empower young talent and elevate Kenya’s creative excellence internationally,
further solidifying its role as a catalyst for innovation and self-expression.

Christine Kariuki, Tusker’s Marketing
Manager, commented on the initiative, stating, “Tusker has always been at the
heart of Kenya’s creative evolution. Our legacy is built on celebrating and
amplifying Kenyan talent, and through Young Lions Kenya, we are proud to open
doors for young creatives to showcase their brilliance at the highest level.

This sponsorship
reaffirms our belief that Kenyan creativity deserves global recognition, and
Tusker will always stand behind the voices shaping our country’s creative
future.”

The Young Lions Kenya competition offers an unparalleled opportunity for six of Kenya’s most promising young creatives to compete against top emerging talent from around the world at the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.

Additionally, one student will attend the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy, ensuring the next
generation of Kenyan creatives is nurtured and equipped with the skills to
excel on the global stage.

With a rich history of supporting Kenyan trailblazers—from musicians to visual artists—Tusker remains steadfast in its mission to foster homegrown talent and fuel creative ambition.

This latest initiative underscores the brand’s dedication to providing platforms that inspire and empower Kenya’s creative community, ensuring its voices are heard and celebrated worldwide.
