Tusker Malt spectacularly crowned Nairobi’s polo season after its team battled BMW to a pulsating 4–4 draw in the Chairman’s Cup final at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday evening.
The gripping encounter brought the curtain down on a two-day celebration of elite sport, culture, and refined social living, reaffirming the Chairman’s Cup as one of Kenya’s most coveted polo events.
In a match defined by speed, precision, and tactical finesse, the Tusker Malt quartet of Raphael Nzomo, Hiromi Nzomo, Kelvin Jumba, and Michelle Morgan rose to the occasion, matching BMW stride for stride in a contest that kept spectators on edge until the final whistle.
It was a fitting climax to a season that showcased polo at its most competitive and captivating.
Beyond the action on the field, the tournament unfolded as a curated lifestyle experience.

For the fifth consecutive year, Tusker Malt’s partnership with the Nairobi Polo Club underscored the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, and meaningful connections, values deeply embedded in both the sport of polo and the art of malt brewing.
Throughout the weekend, Tusker Malt elevated the fan experience with a bespoke craft station that invited guests to unwind, connect, and explore the meticulous process behind the brew. The activation offered a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the artistry that defines Tusker Malt, seamlessly blending leisure with learning.
Speaking during the finale, Rediet Yigezu, Senior Brand Manager for Premium Beer, reflected on the season-long collaboration and its impact on Nairobi’s social calendar.
“It has been a proud moment to partner with Nairobi Polo throughout this season. Polo has given us a platform to elevate the city’s social scene through premium experiences, meaningful connections, and authentic interactions with our customers and partners.

The Chairman’s Cup marked the culmination of a season in which Tusker Malt supported several high-profile tournaments.

These included the Lagos Incoming Tour, where teams from Kenya and Nigeria competed for the Simon Kuseyo Memorial Cup, and the Kenya International Cup held in September 2025, featuring a headline clash between Kenya and South Africa.
Off the pitch, the Chairman’s Cup doubled as a style statement. Nairobi’s fashion-forward crowd turned the manicured lawns into a runway of classic polo chic, bold accessories, and effortless elegance.
Collaborations with Nyandisa Styling and Epica Jewellery brought curated fashion moments and interactive showcases to life, celebrating design, creativity, and fine craftsmanship.
