Emirates has restored 96 percent of its global flight network, signalling a major operational comeback as the airline reconnects travellers across continents through its Dubai hub.
The carrier announced that it is now operating to 137 destinations across 72 countries, with more than 1,300 weekly flights covering the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
The restored schedule represents approximately 75 percent of the airline’s pre-disruption capacity.
Despite operating under reduced schedules during the disruption period, Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers between March and April 2026, highlighting continued global demand for international travel and strong customer confidence in the airline.

For Kenyan travellers, Emirates continues to maintain one daily service between Nairobi and Dubai, reinforcing the route’s importance as a key connection point linking East Africa to global destinations.
The airline says the recovery goes beyond restoring routes. Emirates is also doubling down on the premium travel experience that has helped define its global brand.
Passengers onboard can access regionally inspired multi-course meals, premium beverages and the airline’s award-winning ice entertainment platform, which offers more than 6,500 channels of content in nearly 40 languages.
Connectivity has also become a central focus of the airline’s strategy.
Emirates confirmed that Starlink-powered high-speed internet is now available on 28 aircraft, allowing passengers to remain connected while in the air.

As competition intensifies across international aviation markets, the airline is also rolling out customer-focused incentives designed to stimulate bookings and loyalty.
Travellers booking from April 2 are eligible for one free date change across all cabin classes, while Emirates is also allowing customers to hold fares for up to 24 hours at no extra cost.
Its Dubai Connect programme continues to transform long layovers into mini travel experiences by offering eligible passengers complimentary hotel accommodation, airport transfers, meals and visa facilitation during transit stays ranging between six and 26 hours.
Meanwhile, Emirates Skywards members will benefit from accelerated tier access and bonus tier miles between May and August 2026 on both Emirates and flydubai flights.
As global aviation races toward full recovery, Emirates is positioning Dubai not just as a stopover city, but as one of the world’s most important crossroads for international travel.
