Fly Nas Launches Inaugural Nairobi to Riyadh Flight, Strengthening Kenya-Saudi Arabia Connectivity

Fly Nas officially launched its inaugural flight from Nairobi to Riyadh this morning, marking a new chapter in air connectivity between Kenya and Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier will operate three weekly flights to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), further bolstering tourism, trade, and investment opportunities between the two nations.

Representing the KAA Ag. MD at the launch, JKIA Operations Manager Mr. Walter Agong congratulated Fly Nas on the launch.

He assured the airline of KAA’s unwavering support and encouraged expansion of services on this strategic route.

The Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kenya, H.E. Khalid Saeed Al Zahrani, lauded the strong bilateral ties between the countries and pledged continued collaborations to deepen partnerships in trade, culture, and investments

This new route is expected to open doors for richer cultural exchanges and enhance opportunities for business and religious travel, including Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages.

Fly Nas’ direct connection between Nairobi and Riyadh reduces travel time significantly, making it more convenient for Kenyan travelers to access Saudi Arabia’s capital and economic hub.

KAA reiterates its commitment to supporting airlines in delivering seamless travel experiences through its facilities and welcomes Fly Nas’ contribution to strengthening Nairobi’s position as a regional aviation and economic hub.

The launch of this new route is part of Flynas’ broader strategy to expand its network in Africa. With growing demand for travel between Southeast Asia and Africa, Flynas is capitalizing on the increasing need for affordable, reliable air travel options in the region.

The Riyadh-Nairobi route is expected to be a major success, not only for tourism but also for business and cultural exchanges between the two regions.

Flynas’ entry into East Africa strengthens its role as a key player in providing budget-friendly travel options to international tourists. With new routes and competitive fares, Flynas is helping to shape Africa’s aviation landscape, particularly in high-growth markets like Kenya.
