Liquid C2 has partnered with Google Cloud in Kenya, opening access to cloud services and technical training for local resellers, managed service providers and system integrators as demand for cloud technology grows.
The partnership, announced on November 3, will be delivered through Liquid C2’s Cloudmania business.
It is expected to help local technology firms incorporate Google Cloud solutions into their offerings and create new revenue opportunities.
The agreement comes as Kenyan businesses explore cloud adoption and multi-cloud strategies to improve flexibility, resilience and cost management.
It also provides businesses with access to local technology partners who can support the deployment and management of cloud services.
Neeraj Pradhan, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Kenya, said the partnership would help businesses adopt cloud technology through trusted local providers.
“Kenyan businesses want to adopt cloud with partners they know and trust. Google Cloud brings new opportunities for our channel ecosystem in Kenya while strengthening Cloudmania’s ability to support those partners as their customers’ technology needs evolve,” Pradhan said.
Vinay Hiralall, Chief Commercial Officer at Liquid C2, said the agreement would expand the company’s cloud portfolio and help technology partners build the skills needed to support customers.
The partnership will also allow technology firms to develop recurring revenue streams through cloud consumption and integrate Google Cloud services into existing customer strategies.
Cloudmania’s marketplace enables users to access and self-provision solutions, allowing partners to select and deliver services to customers.
The agreement adds Google Cloud to Liquid C2’s multi-cloud ecosystem, as the company seeks to expand its cloud, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity services across Africa.
Liquid C2 is part of Cassava Technologies, which operates in more than 40 markets across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies provides digital infrastructure and services, including a 116,000-kilometre fibre network, satellite connectivity, cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
