TECNO is introducing a new phase of mobile intelligence in Kenya and other emerging markets through the upcoming beta launch of EllaClaw, the company’s new mobile AI agent powered by the OpenClaw framework and designed to simplify everyday digital experiences.
Integrated into Ella, TECNO’s built-in assistant, EllaClaw operates at system level, enabling users to complete complex, multi-step and long-duration tasks more easily.
Unlike many conventional digital tools that often require technical know-how, EllaClaw is designed for everyday smartphone users and is accessible directly within Ella, offering an intuitive experience aligned with how people use their devices for communication, work, and daily activities.

With the beta rollout expected in the coming months, Kenyan users are set to access three key layers of capability. At the centre of the system is One Sentence Automation, a feature that allows a simple instruction, even when casually expressed, to trigger complete task execution. From scheduling activities to organising files, the tool is designed to turn intent into action with minimal effort.
The platform also supports cross-app data integration, allowing EllaClaw to connect information across SMS, calendar, notes, and other applications. This is intended to ensure that important details such as SMS alerts, bills, and travel updates are not overlooked.
Among the practical use cases is a smart SMS summary feature that automatically categorises messages, highlights priority notifications, and identifies messages that can be safely cleared. Another feature, Daily Schedule, combines calendar events, notes, weather updates, and curated news into a single daily brief designed to help users plan more effectively.
Built around TECNO’s Practical AI philosophy, EllaClaw is designed to move beyond basic assistance. Through a persistent memory system, it gradually learns user habits and preferences, evolving into a digital companion that anticipates needs and delivers more relevant support over time.

TECNO says the system has also been developed with strong privacy safeguards, ensuring that user data remains secure, isolated, and inaccessible to unauthorised third parties.
The innovation builds on the momentum of the recently launched TECNO CAMON 50 Series in Kenya, which combines advanced features with a productivity-focused performance engine aimed at enhancing speed, clarity, and efficiency for users.
With EllaClaw, TECNO is extending that proposition by creating a more adaptive smartphone experience in which devices respond more intelligently to user habits and daily demands.
Further details on beta participation and availability in Kenya are expected to be announced through TECNO’s official online platforms.
