The African Business Chamber (AfBC) has announced that its flagship African Business Awards and Gala Dinner 2025 will take place on Thursday, 3 July, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.

The event is recognized globally as a premier platform celebrating innovation and leadership within African enterprises and the diaspora.

Now an established part of the business calendar, the event recognizes outstanding contributions across sectors such as finance, technology, healthcare, creative industries, and sustainable development. This year’s awards aim to highlight leaders and organizations driving economic growth and championing inclusive initiatives across Africa and abroad.

Award categories include Top 100 Business Leader of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Start-Up & New Business of the Year, and several excellence awards in sectors including technology, healthcare, finance, and social enterprise.

There will also be special recognitions for individuals and organizations making significant contributions to international trade, community development, and the diaspora economy.

The evening promises keynote addresses, networking opportunities, and cultural performances that showcase Africa’s vibrant talent and enterprise spirit. Eugene Nizeyimana, CEO of AfBC, emphasized the importance of the event: “The African Business Awards are about celebrating excellence and fostering connections that empower African-led growth.”

Nominations are invited from businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals and should be sent via email to info@african-chamber.com. The deadline for submissions is June 27, 2025. Due to limited capacity, registration is required in advance. Interested attendees can secure their seats and tickets through the Eventbrite link: https://www.event-brite.co.uk/e/921415728247?aff=oddtdtcreator.

The 2025 edition promises to be a celebration of Africa’s boldest business achievements and a catalyst for future growth and collaboration.
