Gilbey’s Gin, Kenya’s leading gin brand, has officially kicked off its role as the Official Drinks Partner for Jumia Black Friday 2025 with a vibrant, invite-only media launch at the Jumia Warehouse in Cabanas.

The event, themed around the brand’s “Made for Real Moments” campaign, unveiled an exciting deal for consumers, the 750ml Gilbey’s Gin now retails at an exclusive Jumia Black Friday price of Ksh 1,050, down from Ksh 1,550.

The high-energy launch captured Gilbey’s commitment to blending heritage and innovation, showcasing how the brand’s renowned craftsmanship meets Jumia’s seamless e-commerce delivery. Guests experienced an immersive journey that celebrated authenticity, connection, and the art of making everyday moments special.

“This partnership with Jumia is a powerful expression of our ‘Made for Real Moments’ ethos,” said Lilian Mbugua, Brand Manager, Gilbey’s. “It’s not just a price cut, it’s about breaking barriers and making quality gin accessible for Kenyans to celebrate their genuine connections. We’re thrilled to unlock more joyful moments this festive season.”

Echoing this sentiment, Nelly Kihenjo, Chief Marketing Officer at Jumia, emphasised the partnership’s value to consumers.

“Jumia is committed to delivering unbeatable value. Collaborating with a trusted and iconic brand like Gilbey’s allows us to make premium products affordable and accessible to all. This Ksh 500 discount is one of the highlights of our Black Friday campaign,” she said.

Gilbey’s Gin Black Friday promotion is available exclusively on Jumia starting October 31, 2025, marking the official start of the platform’s highly anticipated sales period. Consumers are encouraged to shop early as limited stock is expected to sell out fast.
