AAR Insurance has unveiled a new branch dubbed ‘AAR on the Go’ at ABSA Towers in Nairobi’s Central Business District, marking its expansion to 11 branches nationwide.
This innovative, paperless outlet represents a significant milestone in the company’s digital transformation efforts aimed at providing fast, convenient, and tech-enabled insurance services to urban clients and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The launch coincides with a pivotal moment in the insurance industry, where digital engagement is rapidly becoming the preferred mode of customer interaction.
According to McKinsey, over 60% of new insurance inquiries are now generated through digital platforms, as clients demand more flexible and swift service options. Responding to this trend, ‘AAR on the Go’ offers a smart, walk-in experience tailored to a mobile-first economy.
Designed as a fully digital service hub, the branch supports AAR Insurance’s sustainability objectives by minimizing physical paperwork and reducing processing times. This shift to a digital-first model not only streamlines operations but also promotes smarter resource utilization, aligning with environmental goals while enhancing customer experience.
The branch provides instant access to services through digital tools — including QR code-based onboarding, real-time access to marketing materials, and product information — empowering users with hassle-free engagement without the need for traditional paperwork.
“Our goal is to give customers and partners more control over their insurance needs, making services more accessible, responsive, and tailored to their lifestyles,” said Justine Kosgei, CEO and Principal Officer of AAR Insurance.
“With ‘AAR on the Go,’ we’re enhancing value and efficiency while prioritizing the health and wellbeing of our customers.”
Located strategically in Nairobi’s CBD, the branch aims to improve accessibility for agents, individuals, and SMEs alike, strengthening AAR’s footprint and fostering more personal, direct interactions with stakeholders.
Kosgei further emphasized, “This is more than a branch—it’s a symbol of our transformation journey. It embodies our commitment to innovation, reducing wait times, and bringing our services directly to our customers.”
Esther Koimett, Chairperson of AAR Insurance Kenya, highlighted the broader vision: “This initiative extends beyond technology; it’s about meeting customers where they are and ensuring insurance evolves with their expectations. It’s a bold step toward inclusive, efficient, and future-ready service delivery.”
The launch underscores AAR Insurance’s continued commitment to integrating digitization with accessible service, delivering a smarter, more personalized insurance experience.
The move also follows the company’s success at the 2025 Think Business Insurance Awards, where it garnered recognition across several categories, reinforcing its leadership in the industry.
