 Safaricom and Multichoice hosted an exhilarating football event that truly delivered on its promise of thrilling competition and high-energy gameplay.

Football fans were treated to an electrifying experience with the Showmax Premier League, which brought the much-anticipated “It’s Your Stadium On The Move” 5X5 Football Tournament to life.

The day was filled with fast-paced football and intense competition, showcasing the best local talent and uniting passionate players for an exciting five-a-side battle that captured the spirit of the  Premier League.

Also in participation were players for Kenyan media houses, notably Royal Media,Nation Media Group, Standard Group and Media Max.

It was more than just a game; it provided a platform for footballers of all backgrounds to come together, celebrate their love for the sport, and vie for victory in a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Whether as seasoned players or enthusiastic supporters, attendees enjoyed an action-packed day filled with football.

The stakes were high, with a grand prize of Ksh 30,000 for the winning team and Ksh 20,000 for the runners-up, adding both competitive excitement and reward for the top teams. Bard City FC took home the trophy, while Radio Africa Group took the second position.

As the matches unfolded, teams competed fiercely for top honors, with each match ramping up the energy and anticipation.

This thrilling event was proudly powered by Safaricom and Multichoice, underscoring their commitment to supporting sports initiatives and community engagement.

More than just a football tournament, this event was part of Showmax’s dedication to bringing fans closer to the sport they love, both on-screen and off.
