Global technology firm ASUS has confirmed its participation in the inaugural GITEX Kenya exhibition scheduled for May 19-21, 2026 in Nairobi, where the company will showcase a range of next-generation AI-powered commercial computing solutions.
The company said its participation at the regional technology showcase reflects its growing commitment to supporting Africa’s digital transformation agenda through innovative and AI-ready devices.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tolga Özdil, ASUS Regional Commercial Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META), said Kenya remains a strategic market in the company’s long-term growth plans across Africa.
“We’re excited to be a part of the inaugural edition of GITEX Kenya. The country plays an important role in ASUS’s commercial long-term vision for the African market,” he said.
Özdil noted that emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and sustainability are reshaping industries across the region, creating demand for smarter and more secure business solutions.
During the exhibition, ASUS will present its latest portfolio of AI-enabled commercial devices, including the ExpertBook series and workstation PCs targeting enterprise, SME and government institutions.
Among the featured products will be the newly launched ExpertBook Ultra (B9406), a lightweight premium laptop designed for professionals seeking high-performance AI computing. The device weighs under one kilogram and measures 10.9mm thin while integrating up to 50 TOPS NPU capability for on-device AI processing.
According to ASUS, the AI integration at hardware level allows users to access advanced AI functionalities without relying entirely on internet connectivity, while also maintaining strong performance and battery efficiency.
The company added that security remains a key focus in its commercial portfolio, with the devices built to meet enterprise-grade data protection requirements for organizations handling sensitive information.
Other products expected to be showcased include the ExpertBook B5405, P5405, P440 All-in-One PC and the P500 ExpertCenter Mini Tower.
In addition to hardware innovations, ASUS will also highlight AI ExpertMeet, its AI-powered collaboration platform designed to enhance workplace productivity through real-time meeting transcription and automated summaries.
The company said its AI-driven solutions align with Kenya’s AI Strategy 2025-2030, which aims to position the country as a leading regional hub for artificial intelligence research and digital innovation.
ASUS noted that its commercial ecosystem has been developed around key priorities driving digital transformation, including AI-first computing, cloud-readiness and sustainability.
Attendees at GITEX Kenya will be able to visit ASUS at Hall 2, Stand B45 to explore the company’s latest AI-powered technologies and business solutions.
