TECNO has showcased a new generation of smartphones and laptops at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin, highlighting its push towards thinner designs, flexible computing and increasingly immersive displays.
At the centre of the showcase was the Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone, which TECNO says achieves a true 0mm display border by eliminating the visible black edge traditionally found around smartphone screens.
The concept addresses the final visible gap between the active display and the device frame, with TECNO saying the design represents a new stage in the development of full-screen smartphones.
The company said achieving the design required changes to the display architecture, internal stacking, structural engineering and screen-packaging processes.
The borderless approach is intended to provide a more immersive experience when users watch videos, play games, take photographs or browse content.
TECNO has not, however, announced the commercial availability of the concept phone. There is currently no confirmed launch date or market for the device.
Instead, the company is using the concept to explore technologies that could feature in future products, including camera integration, touch sensitivity, sound, structural design and user-interface interaction.
The showcase also highlighted products closer to the consumer market, including the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series.
The new laptop series consists of the MEGABOOK T15 360 and T15 360 Pro, both featuring 15.6-inch touchscreens and a 360-degree hinge. The design allows the computers to be used as conventional laptops or converted into Tablet, Tent and Stand configurations.
The T15 360 features a Full HD 60Hz display, while the Pro version offers a 2.5K 120Hz screen with 100 per cent sRGB colour coverage. Both support 10-point multi-touch, with optional MPP 2.0 active-pen support.
The devices can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, LPDDR5X memory and PCIe SSD storage. They also feature 70Wh batteries and 65W PD GaN charging.
TECNO expects the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series to launch in Europe in the fourth quarter of 2026, with availability in other markets to be confirmed separately.
The company also presented the MEGABOOK K15S WCL, targeting students and early-career professionals, and the 17.3-inch MEGABOOK T17 Ultra for users seeking larger-screen computing and higher performance.
The T17 Ultra offers configurations of up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, LPDDR5X memory, a 99.99Wh battery and 100W GaN PD fast charging.
Smartphones were also part of the showcase, with the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition combining performance-oriented hardware with Tonino Lamborghini design elements.
The device uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform alongside TECNO’s P1 Graphic Chip and a 5K IceShield Vapor Chamber Cooling System.
The CAMON Slim 5G offered a contrasting approach, focusing on imaging capabilities and portability in a 6.39mm-thick body. The device also incorporates AI features and multiple colour options.
For consumers in Kenya and other fast-growing digital markets, TECNO’s Berlin showcase reflects the increasing convergence of smartphones and computers as users rely on devices for work, education, content creation and entertainment.
TECNO operates in more than 70 markets, including Kenya. However, the company has not yet confirmed local pricing, availability or launch timelines for the devices presented at IFA ShowStoppers 2026.
